This is the best product, by far, that I have found to protect my lips from the cold air up in North Dakota. I always put a layer on before going outside, or even just in the house, and my lips have never been softer. The hint of pink is a nice bonus. I do wish this had sunscreen in it for the summer months, but that's not a huge deal to me. Cute, effective, pretty and smells great!
Ok so not only is this the cutest little mini-pink-tub of Vaseline based on their classic jar (note: no hinge, it comes completely off), but it's also a very effective lip balm (and I'm in Minneapolis where the wind could not possibly be more harsh and cold). The pink tint is barely there but just enough to keep you from getting that glazed-over-colorless-lips look that basic chapstick can give you. The texture is really smooth and silky without being too sticky -- a little thinner and silkier than your basic chapstick. And my favorite aspect: the rose scent. It's really light but just enough that you kind of "smell the roses" all day! It doesn't smell fake, but smells like actual rosewater. It's much better than smelling the sunscreen in your makeup all day. The only downside is that it's not the best "on the go" chapstick because of the jar (must put finger in rather than apply directly). But I wouldn't want it any other way because the jar is adorable! Love love love! It totally made my day, one of those great cheap pick-me-ups on the way home from work.0 users found this review helpful.
