I have a dishwasher that recommends a brand name product but one day we decided to use CVS brand based on our generally favorable opinion on CVS brand products. This one proved to be a disappointment. Half of the time (half of the bag) it worked and the cleansing efficiency between CVS brand and competitor was negligible for us (although CVS brand leaves a film). Over a short period of time we began to notice that the dishwares weren't truly clean. We discovered the detergent pack undissolved at the bottom of the dishwasher, with most of the outer film intact. We never EVER have this problem with the brand name. Having to run TWO consecutive dishwashing cycles at (2hrs/cycle) defeats the purpose of energy and water efficiency so we went back to the "Brand Name Complete/Platinum" option.0 users found this review helpful.
