Too Light A Hold For 4B Hair
Sooo‚. This was the only disappointment for me in the anti-shedding line. After raving about the curl pattern that popped after using the shampoo and conditioner, this curl pudding was kind of a greasy feel on my hair. I also need a stronger hold than I think this curl pudding would give me. I tried to two strand twist with the curl pudding and it wouldn't hold :pensive:I need a strong hold during the colder winter months when I can't wash my hair every week. So I used the Pomegranate & Honey Curl Defining Mousse instead. However, I am going to try it again once it gets warm outside. It may work for a wash and go with finger styling. Sea Moss Curl Pudding
This is a really nice product my hair is soft and the slip is sweettttttttt! Not much shedding! Reviews are rare for me, but I definitely wanted to leave a review for this product. Everything About It Is Perfect!
I have fine textured, naturally dry, wavy hair that is of low density. I have tried so many different creamy stylers and on my fine textured hair, they often weigh down my hair and make it greasy and limp. Or, they will give me major shrinkage and leave my hair quite dry. This curl pudding, I must say is the absolute best creamy styler I have ever used, period. I use it on both wet, freshly cleansed hair and on my dry (morning hair) to refresh my hair style in between my next hair wash day. The packaging of it is absolutely beautiful just like everything else in Mielle's Sea Moss Collection. The pudding has this light refreshing, beach type scent to it, that makes me feel like I'm in paradise, laying out on a beautiful beach somewhere. it's consistency is perfect, not to thin and not heavy at all. It provides me with a light hold, but for those that desire more hold they can always layer styling gel over it for that. It also works well to naturally enhance ones existing curl pattern, add shine, keep ones hair frizz free, and i see very minimal shedding while using this product in my hair to style it with daily. It can be used for any style you like, and it will not flake or ever leave your hair greasy or oily. It provides a level of hydration to the hair, designed not to ever weigh it down. On my wash day, I do apply this product in sections, making sure that my hair is wet. I do one section at a time, apply some of the curl pudding to it, then thoroughly detangle my hair using my Denmark brush, which also aids with proper distribution of this product as well. I make sure that I apply product from root to end very well, because, that will provide you with the best results. After I have finished applying product and detangling my hair, section by section all over, then I simply let my hair air dry (w/o touching it while it air dries). It is very key that you do not touch your hair while it is still air drying, or else you will cause your hair to start to frizz and you will change your desired style that you want your hair to look like after it fully dries. So, it's hands off until your hair is fully dry and the. You can flaunt your beautiful hairstyle to the world to see! No matter what your race, gender and curl type happens to be, you MUST give this product a try. Sea Moss Kit
I bought the Sea Moss kit with hope that it would help reduce my shedding hair. It wasn't bad. The conditioner was a bit thick and my hair felt rough after using it. I added the leave in conditioner and then the hair pudding and I did get more defined curls. After letting my hair air dry, I could feel the softness. I will say, that as the day went on, my hair seemed to start feeling a.bit crunchy. Also, the fragrance is a bit strong for me. I thought it would dissipate as the day went on but it didn't. I'm excited to see how repeated use of the sea moss makes a difference with my shedding. I put this in my hair after washing and had my hair in two braids and twisted my two braids then took them out after a few days to 1 week and the curls are still in my hair And it's been almost two weeks even after I combed my hair out.
