    Meh.. maybe it’s me

So … i feel like I conducted a science experiment and the conclusion is… it’s not for me! It didn’t deliver the results I expected. I started using it the first day of my period and the placement of it was awkward… I figured I didn’t do it right, so I tried again and I managed to place it where I think was the right place. Did it hold the blood? Yea, but I could still feel it inside and my uterus cramped a little. Anyway, I then proceeded to test the “non-messy sex, he won’t even feel it” theory … umm WRONG!! My man is squeamish when it comes to period sex, so I didn’t even tell him (as to not throw off the mental) and it all started great! Then suddenly I felt him move a little different until suddenly he stopped and asked “babe… did you put something in you?” .. oh oh BUSTED!!! So I told him a white lie (thinking I must’ve done it wrong and needed another opportunity to place it right) … I went in the bathroom, took the one out and replaced it with a new one that went further in (the most awkward position I’ve ever been in to put a foreign object in my vagina…) anyway… here I went again! Hot sex, hot, hot, hot and then I hear “babe you’re bleeding!!!” Ugh!!!!!! So that was it, because at that point he gave up. So I came clean and told him what I did, and he said… “yea I felt it again and please don’t do that again… I don’t like it” …. So… that’s that for this experiment!

    Blown away

I decided to give this a shot because I had lost weight and was able to actually SEE my inguinal lymph nodes swell up when I used tampons, which is tremendously disconcerting. I was able to insert the disc correctly the first time, it was not in any way more difficult than a tampon (and less discomfort from dry material, noticeable immediately). I wore the first one through a shift at work where we completed a lot of strenuous manual labor, lifting, trudging up and down a loooong and steep ramp, in 110+° AZ heat. I will never go back. Not only was it more than up to the task for that entire time period, I only felt one MINISCULE cramp the entire time and I have the IUD that exacerbates cramps; they have been borderline debilitating using tampons. Removing it was ridiculously easy, it really doesn't sit very far back and all you have to do is hook the ring and slide. I'm almost through this period and there has been NO discomfort (I don't notice that it's in, at all), an unexpected decrease in cramping, and I really can wear it for the entirety of the time that I'm out and about for the day with absolutely no worries. I've tried multiple "sport" tampons for swimming and they almost work worse than regular tampons so I've just quit trying-THIS is the answer for that. Absolutely zero leakage, no string to keep track of. This is a perfect product.

    Never going back...

I am a 40 yr old woman that has never been able to wear a tampon comfortably ever. My periods have always been a mess and I hate it!! I saw this product show up on my social media and thought, why not. I just had my very first enjoyable period, because of the flex disc. I am never going back to pads and tampons! Flex Disc all the way!!

    First time user

I’m frustrated. I know my disc is placed correctly, but I’m still having accidents, especially if I sit for a while then suddenly stand up; I have to run to the bathroom. I feel like it’s not catching anything, but I’m constantly checking its placement. It’s in there and I definitely can’t feel it but maybe this is because it’s my first time and I’ve got to give it a couple of cycles but I’m just frustrated because I don’t feel comfortable going anywhere and I feel like I just need my tampons back. What should I do?

    life changing

I use the disposable menstrual discs and they have changed the game for me. Before using these, I used tampons and was taking pain medication every 4 hours and stuffing my pockets full of tampons before I left home. Now I can walk out the door worry free and no longer require medication. My cramps are basically gone! No leaks either!

    Enjoy period sex

Tried this on my heaviest flow day. Makes period sex convenient. I suggest you change into a fresh one before sex because you may experience some leakage if it’s been in for a few hours. Aside from feeling a little more “full” than usual during sex, I didn’t really feel it. He didn’t feel it either. No mess doing missionary, cowgirl, or doggy. Even he was amazed at the fact that it was mess free. Only downside is sitting in a car for a couple hours, you might feel pressure on your pelvic bone, especially if you have smaller hips. But other than that, it was pretty comfortable. Also first time putting it in, I wasn’t sure if it was in the right place but I knew it was working when all the period blood was collected in the reservoir.
