Preliminay review
I purchased this product as I am having a total hip replacement surgery tomorrow (11/06/13). I did try the raised toilet seat on my toilet when it arrived and it fit well unto my toilet. I secured it and it seemed to fit tightly. I will know more if I like it or not after surgery, when I return home. Measure carefully
Measure the inside dimensions of you toilet bowl (with the seat up) before buying any raised seat. The dimensions of this one are: 10 1/2 inches long by 8 1/2 wide. It's fairly comfortable, but the locks are not an advantage. They don't provide any extra security and make it inconvenient to remove the seat for cleaning. Pass on this.
VERY cheaply made. This product will not secure to toilet properly due to the poor quality of the mechanism they use on the sides. I would not consider this safe to use as it is not secure. It may fit toilets made before 1970, but anything after that this is not a suitable product. I will be returning it tomorrow.0 users found this review helpful.
