Excellent product!
Due to a long time illness I need to have some help each day to remain regular. Used Miralax for a long time since it was just a prescribed product, however I have used the CVS brand for many years now and I can see no difference between the two.....except for the price! Less expensive alternative
This product was recommended for my cat , 1/4 tsp dose people!, and admittedly I use it too. I use it weekly and because the human dosage is large I go through it quickly. That being said the pure lax brand is a less expensive, identical generic version (is that redundant?) of more expensive brands. It's just as effective and I recommend this product highly.0 users found this review helpful.

Purelax powder does not stay in solution compared to miralax or gentlelax which both stay in solution. Purelax after stirring falls to the bottom of the glass. After drinking much of the product is still in the glass. Purelax 'clumps' in the original bottle. This results in large amounts falling out of the bottle when tipped to measure in the cap.
