    Worked like a CHARM!

I recently dislodged my crown. My dentist recemented it, but it's too high. Not only are my molars now clicking when I eat, I started grinding my teeth at night because of the bad contact. I revisit my dentist in a few days, but I bought this guard to stop the grinding. It molded perfectly to my teeth and locks in. It took me about 2 nights to become comfortable with it and now I am able to keep it in my mouth. When I do this (and don't forget) there is no grinding and no pain in the morning. I am sending one to my mother because she grinds her teeth at night, too! You can't beat the price.

Difficult to prepare; instructions only on outside of box.

I haven't attempted to fit the guard yet. Had I know how it is prepared, I probably would not have ordered it. The instructions are basic, with little offered on, for example, how to press the material into the upper part of the mouth. I'm confused enough about what to do that I haven't tried it yet.

    DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I do not recommend this product by any miens. I bought this for my daughter because I do not have $500 to have the dentist make one and it was absolutely a waste. We tried both guards (product comes with 2) and neither would suction to her teeth. She followed the instructions correctly as well. I don't have money to throw away, but I guess we just did. NOT HAPPY WITH CVS!

Id give it a 4.5 star if I could

I don't know what the dentist guards are like, but after you mold these guards they lock right into you teeth. They actually take a little force to remove, so I don't think I'll ever have to worry about it falling out. I used the guard for the first time last night and had no problems. I am very pleased, even more so than I thought I'd be. I don't think I'll be needing to pay the dentist the $300 to make me his custom mold.

    Very satisfied

I wanted a dental guard because I clench my teeth when i sleep. I also have a daytime problem, a nervous habit of chewing on my cheeks and tongue. So what I was looking for was a dental guard that was simple, small, comfortable, and also wearable during the day when I was alone to discourage my chewing. This guard satisfies all my criteria. The only reason I didn't give it a fifth star was because fitting was a bit of a challenge-lining the guard up with your front teeth before biting down was surprisingly a bit difficult-but not impossible-and it doesn't matter if it's just a touch off-center. I found no problem with reheating and refitting to get it a bit straighter. You also get asecond guard to keep trying if you keep goofing! I find the guard VERY wearable both at night and during the day, and I can also speak pretty clearly when it's in. A couple of hints on fitting-be sure you bite FIRMLY so that your back molars are firmly engaged-this improves fit and minimizes inadvertent contact between upper and lower teeth when your jaw is relaxed so you don't find yourself reflexively "chomping." Also, DO use you fingers to mold the material up your teeth-this minimizes the thickness of the guard between your cheek and teeth and adds to the comfort level. We'll see how well the guard holds up. I think it will do well-the material doesn't seem flimsy. Also, as I didn't goof the fitting and need the second guard, I've now effectively doubled the life-two guards in a pack is a pretty good value when other brands give you only one for a much higher price to begin with. In a nutshell, simple, wearable, comfortable, a good value-I don't think you can go wrong giving it a try.

    A bit bulky

Product is easy to use. But it's a bit bulky in your mouth. What bothers me the most is CVS has different prices online compared to the stores. Why do that??!'!!

    Worth the money.

This product is very good. My dentist's night guard fit better but at more than ten times the cost. If you the directions correctly, it is easy. But you have to be very careful for even the least change can cause a subtle imperfection. I am very glad that I bought these.
