    Disappointed that color was added

The calcium is now bright pink and it seems to have a bitter-like taste to it. Why would CVS add color to the calcium? They are adding unnecessary red coloring to something that should be good for you. I will stop buying their calcium.

This is just what the doctor ordered

I've been taking this product for a very long time - great product. Why pay for a brand name... This is just what the doctor ordered.

    Incorrect information

The amount per serving for Vitamin D (as Cholecalciferol) is listed as 400 IU on the website, but it is 800 IU on the bottle.

    Added color

These calcium tablets are perfect, except for the added color. I wonder why a manufacturer would feel the need to add coloring to a calcium tablet. I was surprised when I opened the bottle and discovered they are bright pink. I purchased them online and did not take a close look at the ingredients before my purchase.

    Effective and Inexpensive

There are many fancy calcium supplements, but 600 units of calcium is 600 units calcium, no matter what the hype is. As long as D is included, the results are the same across all calcium supplements. If you can take a slightly large tablet, then this is the cheapest way to do it. If you need a fancy chocolate or a name-brand calcium supplement because of the placebo effect, or if you think that spending more money will help, then this is not the product for you.
