Medical-Grade silicone

Remove ScarAway Sheet from its package.;If necessary, sheet may be cut to fit smaller scars prior t removing from liner. Wear side-by-side for larger scars. (Sheet should extend beyond the scar on all sides by at least ½ inch (1 cm) facilitate adherence to the skin).;Peel off the protective liner from adhesive side of sheet.;Apply sheet with adhesive side directly on the scar. Press the sheet firmly onto scar area starting from one end and smooth into place.;Keep sheet in place for a minimum of 12 hours for the first day and then gradually increase application to as much as 23 hours a day. Longer application time per day may be more beneficial.;Wash the scar area and both sides of the ScarAway sheet with a plain basic soap and warm water daily. Vigorously rub the silicone side with thumbs, working in a circular motion out toward the edges.;Remember to use a moisturizer-free soap. Rinse ScarAway sheet thoroughly to remove all traces of soap. Allow sheet to air dry while bathing or showering before reapplying. If needed, alternate with a new sheet during washing and drying process.;IMPORTANT: Washing the ScarAway sheet between wear actually helps to restore the adhesive quality without affecting the silicon be removing residue accumulated from clothing and the body (e.g. oils, skin cells & debris).;Do not use any lotions, creams, oils or make-up under the ScarAway sheet as they may interfere with the performance of the product and/or cause skin irritation. HELPFUL HINTS & TIPS:It may be helpful to apply ScarAway Sheets in 2 steps by removing on half of the protective liner first and the other during application.
NOTE: Medical tape or a cohesive wrap may be used to aid in securing the ScarAway Sheet to your skin. This is especially recommended for joint and mobile areas or while sleeping.
If your ScarAway Sheet requires an additional means of adhesion to stay securely in place, this does not mean the sheet is any less effective.
The strength of adhesiveness does not impact the effectiveness of the product. Daily washing is important for hygiene reasons as well as maintaining the adhesiveness of the ScarAway Sheet.

Wash and dry hands and scar area. Do NOT use a soap that contains moisturizers, lotions or oils.
