This product really is amazing!!! I tried it after seeing a popular You Tube hair blogger discuss it. I was very skeptical because this blogger has type 3 hair and I have type 4 hair. However, this stuff is the truth! I had to get used to the smell; it reminded me of orange flavored baby aspirin. It didn't smell bad, just sort of weird to my nose. But I soon got used to the smell and nothing compares to the performance for me. I can put this product on my edges, to slick my baby hair, everyday for a week or more and I never get buildup!!!! I've never used an edge control that didn't give me horrible build up. The hold is all day but it really is flexible and I don't fear broken hairs because it never gets hard. It also doesn't feel sticky or tacky. It really is AMAZING!!! BEST Edge Gel Ever
This is the best edge gel I've ever used. It doesn't leave your hair crunchy and crusty and has the perfect flexible hold. I gave away all of the other edge gels I owned after buying this. Best Bantu Knot Out EVER!!
I used this edge control as a styler for bantu knots. It was my best natural hair day in two years! This product yielded a soft hold, moisture, and defined curls that lasted all day long. Hands down the BEST!!
This stuff is amazing!!!!!! The hold... OMG... I'm not natural, it's been months since my last relaxer and my new growth is pretty thick and fluffy lol. This stuff made my edges look like a fresh new relaxer. Love at first use, and it smells like heaven. So far every product from this line has been a joy! I hardly write reviews for products but I find myself writing reviews for every Mielle product I have tried because they are that good. I used to have to use gel & edge control to lay my edges but not anymore! So happy I found this amazing and natural edge gel. awesome edge gel

HG Edge Gel - Even on 4C Coils
This 'gel' - I have never seen any edge control with this creamy, non sticky yet strong holding, texture - is AMAZING!! My 4c edges with my dad's whispy hairline laugh at edge control. Regular gel does work for me but only with the help of a scarf and 10 mintes to dry. That just too much work and I also don't like the chemicals in regular gel. The smell alone is heavenly! I love how creamy it is, it dries very quickly, and heavy duty but gentle hold!! I find that if I apply too much, I can just add a spritz of water to prevent product buildup. I brush it in, and then rub on another thin layer for extra reinforcement and I'm good to go. It is MAGIC!!
