Definitely not
How this mascara has remained supposedly so popular is completely beyond me. Maybelline has some great mascaras but this is not one of them. Maybelline Great Lash does build some length, but no thickness. You will notice some flaking after a while, and possibly some smearing. Why all the publicity for such an incredibly mediocre product? Please don't run out and buy a lousy product just because you saw it in a magazine, or because someone else you know buys it. My Golden Mascara!!!
I had gone through many mascaras before I settled on this one; all of them had weird quirks, mostly flaking or bad clumping. I prefer my mascara to not be waterproof because taking waterproof mascara off at night is too harsh on my eyes, so this one is good in that respect (it is really easy to remove). My favorite part about this mascara is that it is completely incapable of flaking! I have never experienced flaking EVER from this mascara, and I have used this type for almost 2 years straight. It has a pretty basic application brush, nothing really fancy, and there is minimal clumping (just your eyelashes sticking together a little on occasion, nothing really that noticeable). Also, compared to other mascaras, this is a great price for how well it works.0 users found this review helpful.
