For l'oreal UL61
So happy with the result, I never wrote a review for a hair color product because I'm often disapointed with the color I get at home... But read my story, this product came out very beautiful... So I had henna on my head since 6 years (did a henna every month) then I started to get gray hair so I wanted to bleached out my henna to get closer to my natural color: light/medium ash brown... So I did a looooot of treatments on my hair to remove the henna (which was horrible for my hair, about 4 bleaching, then toner to remove the orange, then color over the yellow chick hair to get normal hair... but I had to color every 2 weeks because I couldn't remove the heavy brassy hue which I had in my medium brown... Then I started to think about this product but stayed away as I read a lot of bad review, and my hair were soooo damaged yet, I didn't want to add useful damage to them. But I gave a try today, I used pure coconut oil on my hair about 2hours before to apply the product to help them to resist, then I applied the color about 25min on the lenght first, and 12min on the roots.. The result is awsome, just like the box, I'm so happy, no more orange, no more yucky yellow in there, I didn't give a 5 stars yet because 2mm of my root are a bit to light for my taste but it's ok, not so bad compare to the color I got before! My hair isn't even more damaged, they are soft and silky, the conditioner is very good. I would say if you are like me, if you have a medium/light golden/orange brown which you want to change in ash light brown: give it try!0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendAriaBMReviewed 10 years ago
The product works
Overall this is a very good product. The only thing I would suggest is that you be careful with "hot roots" because in some parts of my hair thats what happened. But It does actually lighten dark hair especially if it is your dark natural hair and not dyed.0 users found this review helpful. - Yes, I recommendneemaritaReviewed 10 years ago
Good color
Worked for me. I wanted to get back to my natural hair color, which is a light brown like this. I haven't seen it in 12 years. Mission accomplished. Do read directions carefully: avoid the roots until you've had the dye in for 20 mins and super-saturate everything after you've done the roots.0 users found this review helpful. - LenochkaReviewed 11 years ago
