Hollister New Image pre-sized convex Flextend skin barrier with tape is the barrier of choice for urostomies and ileostomies. It eliminates pressure on tender post-operative abdomens with the exclusive floating flange and protects the skin over extended wearing time from irritating discharge. It has built-in convexity for added security and skin protection for recessed, retracted, flush stomas and pre-cut openings. FSA (Flexible Spending Account) eligible

Flextend (extended wear) skin barrier: Flextend is an extended wear, synthetic skin barrier, which is designed to be the most resistant to discharge. Do not use skin gel wipes (7917) or other brands of skin preps with Flextend skin barriers
Pre-sized skin barrier stoma opening: The skin barrier is supplied with an opening that allows the user to apply it without any preparation
Integral convexity: Skin barriers with integral convexity are indicated for stomas that are flush, recessed or retracted. These skin barriers are either pre-sized or cut-to-fit
Tape border: Tape borders provide additional security to the attachment of the one-piece pouch or two-piece skin barrier to the skin
Color matching system: To help you select compatible new image components, every box label is color-coded
First, select the proper skin barrier
then select a matching color-coded pouch ("red" skin barrier box label is compatible to "red" pouch box label). Green - 1-3/4 in. (44 mm), red - 2-1/4 in. (57 mm), blue - 2-3/4 in. (70 mm), yellow - 4 in. (102 mm)
In a two-piece pouching system, the skin barrier and pouch come as separate units for assembly by the user
They are connected by snapping the two pieces together for a secure fit
