I have switched to the Freestyle Lite testing system because my insurance requires I use one of two metering systems. I am glad they included this system in their list. The Abbott Freestyle Lite system does not require testing liquid to calibrate the meter, and you don't have to use alcohol swabs to clean your testing site, just wash with soap and water. The Freestyle Lite meter is much easier to muse than the four types of meters I have used before, its lancets and lancing device are less slippery than other manufacturer's equivalents too. Great system, and you can get a cable to connect to your computer to make spreadsheets for your Physician or BG Test Nurse.
