CVS Health Nighttime Cough Syrup in Cherry flavor is a cough suppressant and antihistamine medicine. It provides all-night relief from coughing, sneezing and runny nose. ACTIVE INGREDIENTS: CVS Health NightTime Cough Relief contains Dextromethorphan HBr (Cough Suppressant) and Doxylamine Succinate (Antihistamine), which compare to the active ingredients in Vicks NyQuil Cough.
ALL NIGHT COUGH RELIEF: CVS Health NightTime Cough Relief temporarily relieves your cough so you can get the rest you need.
MULTI-SYMPTOM RELIEF: Temporarily relieves cold symptoms such as cough, runny nose and sneezing.
COUGH SUPPRESSANT/ANTIHISTAMINE: Temporarily relieves cough due to minor throat and bronchial irritation, runny nose and sneezing that occurs due to a cold.
CHERRY FLAVORED NIGHTTIME COUGH SYRUP: CVS Health NightTime Cough Relief is cherry flavored and gluten free. Dosage cup is included.

Adults and children 12 years and over use 30 mL every 6 hours. Children 4 to under 12 years, ask a doctor. Do not use for children under 4 years of age. See below for more directions. Use dose cup

If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. DO NOT USE IF IMPRINTED SHRINK BAND IS MISSING OR BROKEN. Failure to follow these warnings could result in serious consequences. Do not use if you are taking a prescription monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for 2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know if your prescription drug contains as MAOI, ask a doctor or pharmacist before taking this product. Do not use to make a child sleepy. Ask a doctor before use if you have: A sodium restricted diet, glaucoma, a cough that occurs with too much phlegm (mucus), a breathing problem or chronic cough that lasts or as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis, or emphysema. Do not use if you have trouble urinating due to an enlarged prostate gland. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use
