    Not Consistent

When I read the reviews on this scale, there were enough bad ones that I should have gotten the hint. I bought it anyway. Three weeks later, the battery was dead and it never gave me a consistent reading. It would vary between 192 and 197 in a given week. Shopping for a new scale now.

    Such disparity in reviews?

I can't understand how there could be so many 5 star reviews and so many 1 star, from people like myself, who find the scale totally inaccurate. The only explanation must be that some people get on the scale once, accept the reading , and that's that, until the next day (They love the scale) . Others, like myself, either don't like the first reading, or don't believe it, and get on the scale again, and again, and again. Thus we see how inaccurate it really is. Those who love the scale just haven't found that out yet.

    Quite working way too soon

I owed my scale for about a year when suddenly it just went dear. I bought a new battery installed it and nothing. In reading the operates guide it said it was broken. Guess it is broken - bumber. Expected more than a year.

    Good Value

I wanted just a basic scale since I'm in the process of trying to drop a few pounds. I read the reviews and they were mixed. i went ahead and bought it anyways because of the price. I had lost weight, but to couble check it I went back to use somebody else's scale. A totally different brand and more expensive. It totally matched. I like that it's clear and thin as well. All in all, it works for me so far.

    Easy to use.

Only had it a couple of weeks, but I like that its light and easy to read. The manual was easy to follow on where and how to use it, the price wasn't bad either

    Nice scale

Appears to be accurate to within 2 to 3 lbs. Close enough for my purposes,.

    Attractive but unreliable

I was excited to try this scale. It was attractive and the price was right. I tried this scale on several different surfaces in several different areas of my home. I couldn't get the same reading twice. It was always 2 to 10 pounds in either direction. I considered it might because I'm a large person but I do not exceed the weight limit of the scale so this shouldn't be an issue for consistency. After about 10 tries to get the same weight, the battery low indicator was flashing on the display. I will be taking this scale back tomorrow and putting the $10.99 towards a more reliable scale that has a calibration function. There are some really good reviews here so maybe I purchased a faulty scale, but I'm not willing to take the chance on another.
