Also known as tinea pedis, this condition is caused by a fungus called Trichophyton rubrum, and it is common in hot and humid weather. When not treated, the athlete's foot can spread to other parts of the body. The use of right foot care products and antifungal cream can help you stop the growth of fungus and treat its symptoms. The active ingredient in this product is tolnaftate 1%, which relieves itching, swelling, and burning in the affected area. Directions Using the CVS Health Antifungal Cream Tolnaftate 1% is very easy. First, wash and dry the affected area. Then, apply a thin layer of the cream day and night. Make sure to supervise children who are using this product. When applying this cream, do not forget to pay attention to the spaces between the toes. It is recommended to wear well-ventilated shoes and change footwear or socks once daily. This product is meant to be used daily for 4 weeks. If you don't see any improvement, consult a doctor. This product is not meant to be used on the nails or scalp. Warnings This product is for external use only. Store at 68 to 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid contact with eyes.     Wash affected area and dry thoroughly. Apply a thin layer over affected area twice daily (morning and night). Supervise children in the use of this product. For athlete's foot: pay special attention to spaces between the toes; wear well-fitting, ventilated shoes, and change shoes and socks at least once daily. Use daily for 4 weeks. If condition lasts longer, ask a doctor. To prevent athlete's foot, apply once or twice daily (morning and/or night). This product is not effective on the scalp or nails. Store at 68-77 degrees F (20-25 degrees C).
    For external use only. When using this product avoid contact with the eyes. Stop use and ask a doctor if: irritation occurs; there is no improvement within 4 weeks. Do not use on children under 2 years of age unless directed by a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
