I ended up getting the Country Archer Beef Jerky, and I absolutely loved the flavor! We are huge jerky eaters in this family and have been pretty disappointed with most brands available in a regular store, but this one was quite tasty! It's a nice big bag so you get a ton of jerky for the price. I chose the beef which is classic jerky flavor. I'm a jerky purist, I don't need a lot of sticky flavorings just some nicely spiced dry beef. It is a little higher moisture than I expected. There is a warning to eat it within 3 days of opening so this might not be good hiking food where it will be warm but I threw my leftovers in the fridge just to be sure. I picked up a bag at Starbucks. It looked real good on the cover. The meat is obviously of high quality. But, there is a gagging amount of sugar in the recipe. This was great jerky all around. The flavor was very good, and nice and soft just the way I like my jerky. It was very easy to chew. I'm very picky when it comes to jerky and this passed all my expectations and more. I tried the original beef jerky. First I had to chase my cat down and get the package of jerky from him he snatched it out the bag after I got home with it.. I really like the flavor it's slightly sweet but very good tasting and tender my son can't stop eating it I had to hide the bag from him and my cat LOL! This jerky is pretty tasty. It's also not super chewy and hard like some jerky. It's softer and easier to eat. My kids love snacking on it. It would be something I would buy in the future. I am enjoying this quite a bit! I have carried it with me in my car while doing errands. It helps me to stay away from bad food choices by taking off the edge from my crazy hunger around meal time. That way I can make it home and have better options versus stopping at a fast food place!
